End User License Agreement

1. The license
When you buy a license (or use the free trial), you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Calder QC — one person, on up to two machines you own or control. The trial is the full app for 14 days, for evaluation. The app is licensed, not sold; all rights not granted here are reserved.
2. What you can't do
Don't redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the app or your license key; don't share keys; don't reverse-engineer or modify the app except where the law says we can't stop you; don't use the app to break the law.
3. Your files and backups — read this one
Calder QC batch-modifies audio files, filenames, and folders. It previews changes, keeps an undo stack, and sends deletions to the macOS Trash rather than destroying them — but no software is infallible, and you are responsible for backing up your files. Keep a current backup before running batch operations on material you can't afford to lose.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Ben Bromley / Calder Tools for any claim arising out of this agreement or your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6. Purchases, trials, refunds
Orders are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record; Paddle's checkout terms apply to the transaction. If the app isn't for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Terms for details.
7. Updates
Updates are provided free and may add, change, or remove features. If a paid major version ever ships, your current version keeps working.
8. Termination
If you materially breach this agreement, the license ends and you must stop using the app. Sections 3–5 survive termination.
